Critical Esports was founded in 2017 by Marc “mthx” Thomas as an organization focused on improving the state of Esports both locally and globally. With a desire to assist esport athletes directly, as well as organizers of esport events, much of the software Critical Esports develops has those goals in mind.
Critical Esports achieves these goals through the custom development of player websites, stream layouts, and both web and mobile applications. In addition to development, Critical Esports also runs events focused on the player first, then the audience. With practices such as recording lesser known and lower level players performances, as well as side events to make participating in esports culture worthwhile, we strive to bring value and recognition to a side of esports previously unexplored.
